After two interesting experiences with two other orthodontists in the area with my other kids, it was time to consider our youngest’s needs. One of the two interesting experiences led me to walk out of that office, wanting a second opinion. Something didn’t feel right. A friend suggested Benson Ortho, and it turns out that the other office was recommending a treatment that wasn’t necessary, and our patient wasn’t quite ready for braces! Our follow up was to come for annual appointment to keep an eye on things and then eventually braces. Here we are, years later and post braces now, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience at Benson Ortho. On top of the first rate staff, parking is so easy around the building, and every patient has their own private space. I just can’t recommend Benson Ortho enough. They really are the best!

Dr. Benson, Stefanie, and Dione truly left a lasting, positive impact on my life. My teeth were a big insecurity but it took me a long time to finally make the financial commitment to orthodontic treatment. Dr. Benson gave me all of the information I could need, including the potential risks, realistic outcome expectations, and cost breakdown of my treatment plan. At every appointment I knew what was changing/ being adjusted, what the goals were for the following appointment, what I could do at home to help reach those goals, and how my teeth were progressing toward the final product. It was not easy to have braces at 25, but everyone in this office made me feel like an absolute rockstar the entire 16 months, and continued to do so during all of my follow up appointments thereafter. I was always met with a warm smile and always left feeling informed and supported. Dr. Benson is firm but empathetic and seems to have a way with his adolescent and adult patients alike. I could not be happier with my outcome. I have a renewed sense of self confidence and I get complimented on my smile often and I always respond with “thanks, my orthodontist is one of my favorite people in the world”

I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for an Orthodontist in the Denver area. Dr. Benson is an excellent provider. As an adult getting braces he made it a very smooth process, minimal to no wait times, check up appointments would be quick which was great for my busy work schedule. Was really easy to schedule appointments and Dione is amazing with scheduling and billing questions.. Updating many years later - had to come back and again best practice ever. Love everyone at the office, they make it comfortable and convenient which are words I never thought I'd associate with an orthodontist.

Note: I did not receive orthodontics with Dr. Benson, but nonetheless I think this is a useful review! I was referred to Dr. Benson by my dentist and periodontist. I have had a few gum grafting treatments and it was thought that the position of my teeth was contributing to the need for recurring grafting. Dr. Benson took a look and gave me some hard truths! He laid out two options: one involving extensive bone and gum grafting, tooth removal, and braces , the other... do nothing. He was honest about cost and potential risk/reward. At the end of the day, I appreciated his upfront and honest demeanor, knowing that he may not get my business if I decide not to proceed. 5 stars for honesty in a world that needs more of it.

I had braces in high school, moved away from home and needed a new retainer! Everyone here was really nice, and getting my new retainer was a breeze.

Before I got braces I had pain and my bite was off. I wear braces for 18 months. Everything was fine the day my braces came off. My bite was better, my teeth looked good, no other problems. After wearing the temporary retainer I start having pain and tinnitus. Dr. Benson didn't listen to my concerns. I told him the minute I got them that my bite was off and doesn't feel right. He told me to give it few days. After few days I came back to adjust the temporary retainer because I got sores in my mouth. So I told him again that it doesn't feel right and my bite is off. So I left and had to wait for my permanent retainer as he was not concerned. When I couldn't take it anymore I sent him an email. By then I was feeling miserable; I got bad tinnitus, I was clenching my teeth, couldn't sleep, I start calling in sick at work. So I sent him an email with all my concerns one day before I had to get my permanent retainer to make sure he will listen to my concerns. I got the permanent retainer. After few days wearing the permanent retainer the pain and tinnitus got worse ( I had pain immediately after placing the retainer in my mouth). So Dr. Benson got a new retainer for my bottom teeth. After 6 months with the retainer I have mild pain at times when I am chewing (watermelon, etc). The tinnitus is still there and my front teeth bite on top of each other. So my dentist told me to talk to Dr. Benson about a nightguard. And Dr. Benson told me that I should talk to my dentist about a nightguard. My dentist also said that the nightguard will not move my teeth but keep it in place. I am disappointed because I thought he is the best and he is sooo expansive. I wanted to do this once and be done.

I had a nice smile but my teeth were pretty jacked up before I got braces with them. When I got my X-ray they found that I had a tooth hidden above the roof of my mouth. With a small surgery they were able to access the tooth and over a period of about a year and a half Benson Orthodontics was able to slowly pull the tooth into place. I couldn’t be more happy with how my teeth are now. They are professionals that really care about their patients. I would highly recommend.

I break my experience with Benson Orthodontics into three categories; Office Management, Staff, and Dr. Proficiency. Office Management: This is my first experience with a medical/dental provider where appointments are met precisely with no wait. When an appointment was scheduled the appointment time was honored 100% of my visits. All my questions were answered promptly and with accuracy. The way this office is managed should be the model for other providers. Staff: Every interaction I have had with Dr. Benson's staff has been exemplary. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. I was greeted every time I entered the office, and again as I encountered additional employees. After a period of time you almost feel a sense of friendship with the staff members. Dr. Proficiency: This is my second round of wearing braces. Dr. Benson does an amazing job of explaining what is being done, and carefully applying changes (tightening, etc). One will feel some tenderness when teeth are being moved around, but I didn't feel pain as the result of poor fitting appliances. Everything Dr. Benson did was precisely configured to my mouth and as a result the experience was as comfortable as it could have been. The entire experience with Benson Orthodontics has been second to none. Given space I could add additional anecdotes to support the claim. I would recommend the office to anyone considering braces. We tend to think good service is no longer available in the world, but this office proves that to be incorrect. They offer amazing service and a very high degree of proficiency.
